The Guardian of Time - Norse Mythological Tree Yggdrasil - Limited Edition Print

In Norse cosmology there exists a mythological tree called Yggdrasil, a guardian whose branches stretch through time and space.  Upon Yggdrasil exists the nine realms of Norse mythology including Niflheim, Jotunheim and Asgard, and is home to several great creatures; a dragon named Níðhöggr, an unnamed eagle, and the stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór.  Even the Norse gods themselves are in awe of the mighty Yggdrasil and bow before its majesty.

This is my most recently completed piece, which makes a grand departure away from multicoloured horses and onto something altogether different.  The great tree Yggdrasil is resplendent and bold in black, while the cosmos whirls around it in a myriad of purples, pinks and oranges using my unique pointillism technique.

This is a strictly limited run of 30 A3 and 60 A4 prints, individually signed and numbered by yours truly. They've been professionally printed on beautiful premium 250gsm recycled paper to accentuate the warm colours in the artwork, and are available unframed and framed.

Unframed prints will be dispatched ASAP in strong cardboard tubes.  Framed prints will be framed using white Ikea 'Ribba' frames, but please note that as I don't always keep a stock of these, there may be a short delay for delivery.

The original artwork for this is available to purchase - please get in touch with me if you're interested!
