In Norse mythology, a great stag called Eikthyrnir (roughly translated from old Norse meaning 'Oak thorn stag') stands atop the highest branch of Yggdrasil and represents the cycle of life in many Norse myths.  His antlers represent growth and fertility, and his golden coat symbolizes purity, nobility and vigor and, residing in Valhalla, he represents guidance and safe passage to the world of the honoured dead.

The original artwork for this was completed in January 2023, and represents the first non-equine piece of art I completed since I perfected my pointillism technique. It's been professionally printed on recycled 'silk touch' 250gsm paper, ready to be popped into a frame of your choice or, if you prefer, provided framed  and ready to be hung.

Unframed prints will be dispatched ASAP in strong cardboard tubes.  Framed prints will be framed using white Ikea 'Ribba' 40x50cm frames.  Please note however that I don't always keep a stock of frames, so there may be a delay in the delivery of framed prints.

The original artwork for this is available to purchase - please get in touch with me if you're interested!
