David Bowie 'Aladdin Sane' Art Print
In 2016, the whole world cried out in shock as its arguably most influential and beloved rock stars, David Bowie, passed away two days after the release of his final album 'Black Star'. It was a day I'll never forget - the news broke in the morning that day and I went through a process of shock and denial before spending the rest of the day in floods of tears. Looking back, only Bowie could have turned his death into a statement of art, forever the showman.
As a tribute to him, I decided to recreate the front cover of his legendary 1973 album Aladdin Sane using my unique pointillism style. It's been professionally printed on recycled 'silk touch' 250gsm paper, ready to be popped into a frame of your choice or, if you prefer, provided framed and ready to be hung.
Unframed art prints will be dispatched ASAP in strong cardboard tubes. Framed prints will be framed using white Ikea 'Ribba' 40x50cm frames. Please note however that I don't always keep a stock of frames, so there may be a delay in the delivery of framed prints.
The original artwork for this is available to purchase - please get in touch with me if you're interested!
